Debate Team Tryouts
​Mrs. Shelton as the team coach will be attending one or two coaches' meetings before the team will be selected. The first meeting will be held at Samford University on August 25.
Tryouts for the very first DJHS Debate Team will be held on Wednesday, August 26, in room 106 after school until 4:30. Prospective team members must prepare both sides of the school uniform argument and be ready to debate either side. The purpose of this requirement is to determine which candidates are serious about debate and are willing to put forth the work necessary to be successful. I look forward to seeing you there!
